Position: .9 FTE Operating Room RN
Schedule: Work three 12-hour shifts each week, 0700-1930
Unit: 5 OR suites
Other: Da Vinci robotics for OB/GYN and Urology surgeries

Position Details:

Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.

Qualifications

Education

Accredited School of Nursing Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year RN experience.
Requires OR nursing experience or may consider related perioperative/procedural experience.

Credentials

Required upon hire: WA State Registered Nurse License
Required Upon Hire: Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required within 6 months of hire.

Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs. (Required)
