PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a Per Diem role at St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington. In this Per Diem/Relief role, you'll work variable days and shifts to provide additional staffing as needed.

We offer you:

Current wage range of $52.15 – $77.39, hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including RN work experience and terms of the WSNA union contract.
A 15% Relief differential in lieu of benefits
$2.50/hr evening shift differential on applicable hours
Additional compensation for BSN, MSN, DPN, and specialty nursing certification
A Professional Nurse Advancement program with pay incentives

Position Details:

Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

Essential Functions

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

Qualifications

Education

Accredited School of Nursing Required
BSN and specialty nursing certification preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 1-year RN experience, OR circulating experience is required.

Credentials

Required: WA State Registered Nurse License

Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Perform hands on CPR at least 20 mins using 100-125 lbs. of force (National Assoc. of EMS Physicians and AHA) Frequency should be seldom or occasionally.
