Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - CSS Middlesex for the University Behavioral Healthcare.

The primary purpose of the LPN position is to provide medical-focused support services, including
wellness education and support, to individuals with mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses, in their homes and other community-based settings in accordance with all relevant program requirements.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Participates in data collection related to the individuals’ status and needs.
Promotes health and safety through the provision of education about medication, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT), HIV/STD, physical health promotion, and other medical topics to promote wellness and recovery.
Completes all documentation within prescribed timeframe.
Effectively contributes to and supports an environment that enhances the positive self- image of individuals served and preserves their human dignity.
Completes Annual Employee Health Update (to include PPD).
Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
