Your responsibilities will include: Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience What qualifications you will need: High School Graduate / GED Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Completed Surgical Technician Course and/or on-the-job training demonstrating ability or current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse Rapides Regional Medical Center is a 350+ bed hospital and ER in Alexandria, Louisiana.
