Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS certified. Corrections experience a plus.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on a Per-Diem basis out of Helio Health’s Residential Program. Pay: $21.78 - $24.20 per hour Responsibilities Works in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Provide client services for medical issues. Monitors and documents clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director. Works with other medical staff for continuity of clients’ medical care. Communicates with clinical staff regarding clients’ medical concerns. Works directly with clients in providing medical services and interpreting medical information. Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.
