We are seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our onsite employee health team in Michigan. These positions offer flexible, as-needed scheduling on both first and second shift, making them ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact in their day-to-day work.

About the Role
As a PRN RN with Ramp Health, you will play a central role in promoting workplace wellness, safety, and readiness. You’ll collaborate closely with site leadership, HR partners, and safety teams to deliver first aid, health assessments, and preventive services that support employee well-being and productivity.

This position is best suited for a nurse who enjoys a mix of clinical care, relationship building, and problem solving—someone comfortable working independently and engaging directly with employees in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

First Aid and Clinical Support

  • Assess and treat work-related injuries or illnesses with proper documentation

  • Provide immediate first aid and coordinate external care when needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinic environment

  • Assist with return-to-work evaluations and workers’ compensation coordination

Health Screenings and Assessments

  • Conduct routine health screenings including vitals, biometric checks, and wellness assessments

  • Complete pre-employment evaluations and drug testing

  • Perform specimen collections following established protocols

Regulatory and Compliance Support

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and workplace health regulations

  • Support case management, accommodation requests, and health reporting

Health Education and Wellness

  • Promote healthy lifestyle habits and provide accessible health education

  • Engage employees in wellness initiatives and preventive care conversations

Emergency Response

  • Serve as an onsite responder for medical emergencies

  • Provide CPR and First Aid support and ensure readiness of emergency supplies

Ergonomics and Workplace Safety

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend adjustments to reduce injury risk

  • Collaborate with leadership and safety teams to proactively address workplace hazards

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of Michigan (required)

  • Minimum two years of experience in Family Health, General Practice, or Occupational Health

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable adapting to varying workplace needs and environments

Preferred

  • Experience in occupational health or employee wellness programs

  • Knowledge of disability management and return-to-work processes

  • Venipuncture and fit testing experience

Compensation

  • $46/hour

  • PRN scheduling flexibility with first and second shift opportunities

Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other Registered Nurses. Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre – during – post hemodialysis treatment for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record, makes adjustments or modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Physician as needed. Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family. Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients. Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness. Initiates or assists with emergency response measures. Serves as a resource, leader, coach, mentor and role model for new and incumbent employees by setting examples of appropriate behavior, work habits and attitudes towards patients, co-workers, supervisors and the company at the facility, and area level. Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
