School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Washington, Pennsylvania

A full-time Certified School Nurse position is available in a K-12 school located in Clairton, PA. This role supports approximately 800 students, providing essential healthcare services and promoting wellness throughout the school community. The nurse will have the assistance of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and will play an integral part in maintaining a healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students in grades K-12, addressing acute and chronic health conditions
• Perform health screenings, manage medications, and provide emergency care as needed
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records consistent with school policy and state regulations
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school setting

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse (CSN) certificate required
• Experience working with school-age children preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Assignment to one K-12 school building serving approximately 800 students
• Contract position through the end of the school year, with an immediate start date
