Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a PRN Days position.  We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.  Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients
  • Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards
  • Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments
  • Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols
  • Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns

This is a PRN role that will work various shifts. This MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams on patients, insuring high quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety. In addition to performing MRI exams on patients this MRI Technologist will prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure.
