Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, under the supervision of a licensed nursing professional

  • Monitor resident's responses to medications and report any adverse reactions to the nursing staff

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Provide basic care and assistance with ADLs, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Provide emotional support and promote a positive atmosphere among residents and staff

Requirements:

  • CMA certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
