Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

Additional Requirements:

 Type of degree: Associates or Bachelors - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

 Area of study or major: Nursing

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

 Current Ohio Registered Nurse license in good standing.

 CPR Certification

Experience:

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience

Preferred experience: One year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

 One-year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred

 Clinical experience must have occurred within the last three years unless employed currently in home care setting

 If working as a specialist, documentation of the skills and certifications must be provided

 Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.

 Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision

 Computer Skills Preferred

 Home care experience preferred

 Must be proficient at fingerstick test/procedure.

▪ Must be proficient in conducting blood pressure screenings.

 Must be able to use equipment to obtain health screening results.

 Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of participant information/data.

 May be required to offer a quick counsel on health screening results.

 May be required to administer vaccinations (flu and COVID).

 Must have strong people skills, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work under pressure.

 Must be proficient with basic computer skills – Analytics software and Epic may be used.

 Must have reliable transportation, accurate contact information and a valid Ohio driver’s license.

 Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds when transporting supplies, and able to walk moderate

distances to screening spaces.

 Must have regular access to email and internet to check communications
