Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated bilingual Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/clinic. The position supports both providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This role will report to our Clinic Supervisor and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do

  • Verify patient information by interviewing patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, confirming purpose of visit or treatment, 
  • Perform EKG and cardiac heart monitor hook up. 
  • Clerical tasks may include: insurance eligibility verification, pre-authorizations requests, scheduling appointments.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, confirming purpose of visit or treatment, performing EKG and cardiac heart monitor hook up. Other clerical tasks may include: insurance eligibility verification, pre-authorizations requests, scheduling appointments.


Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position is onsite at 506 W. Valley Blvd., Unit #100, San Gabriel, CA 91776. 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
