CNA Weekend Warrior (Weekend + Optional Weekday) – $5/hr Differential

Job Summary:
Work Saturday and Sunday and receive an extra $5 per hour. Weekend Warriors may also pick up one additional weekday shift and receive the same $5/hour differential for that weekday shift as well.

The Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing at Washington Township is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Warrior team. As a vital member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and recovery. Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Feeding and hydrating patients

  • Transferring and repositioning patients using proper body mechanics and equipment

  • Measuring and recording vital signs and reporting changes to the healthcare team

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans

  • Participating in shift handovers and communicating effectively with staff

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient documentation

  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care

  • Performing other duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff

Requirements:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of New Jersey

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to work Saturday and Sunday (required)

  • Ability to work one additional weekday shift (optional, with $5/hr differential)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients according to established protocols

  • Prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care preferred, but not required
