Responsibilities

Assess all new admissions, determining appropriateness for Registered Nurse delegation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all care provided throughout the nursing department
Ensure thorough assessment of patients and completion of necessary follow up as applicable
Ensure thorough monitoring of patients
Provide supervision, support, guidance, and development of staff members
Ensure adherence to administrative processes within the nursing department
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
3+ years of experience preferred
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
