46-bed Medical-Surgical and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) with modern equipment and a wide variety of patients daily.

The IMC team supports critical care by stabilizing patients for ambulance or helicopter transport.
Nurse-patient ratios: 5:1 in Med-Surg and 3:1 in IMC.

The Nurse Residency program runs in tandem with your RN position here at Baystate Wing Hospital with the Medical-Surgical, Telemetry team. This inpatient acute care unit is the largest unit in the hospital and has the capability to care for a broad spectrum of patient acuity.

You will be hired as a Registered Nurse, offered a competitive nursing rate and after orientation, will assume responsibility for the patient's plan of care.
