RN SUPERVISOR – Community Hospice - Saratoga/Washington/Montgomery Counties

If you are an experienced RN looking for a Supervisory position and have a passion for Hospice nursing, this could be your opportunity!

Work days are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. On-call rotation for evening and weekend every 6 weeks.

What you will do:

  • The Community Hospice has a rewarding opportunity for an RN Supervisor to lead our RN Care Managers, LPNs and Home Health Aides who are caring for Hospice patients/families at home in Saratoga, Washington, and Montgomery Counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate closely with the team's RN Clinical Lead, other RN Supervisors, the hospice interdisciplinary team, and Directors to ensure high quality end of life care to patients and families.
  • Support and develop our nursing team.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams include medical directors with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers!). Coordinate closely with the team's RN Clinical Lead, other RN Supervisors, the hospice interdisciplinary team, and Directors to ensure high quality end of life care to patients and families.

What you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

  • Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.

  • Prior Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years Hospice, acute care, or homecare RN experience required. Prior Hospice experience strongly preferred

Pay Range: $38.75-$53.40 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
