RN School Contract

A school district in the Hopkins, MN area is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-call nursing services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is available for the current school year, beginning January 12, 2026, and ending June 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call nursing support for day-of call-outs or planned vacation coverage
  • Assist nursing office staff or offer direct student support as needed
  • Ensure student health and safety throughout the school day, following established protocols
  • Collaborate with school personnel to manage student care and emergency responses

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Experience as a school nurse or in school nursing preferred
  • Ability to respond promptly and effectively in on-call situations
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Flexibility to cover varying shifts Monday through Friday, no guaranteed hours

Location: Hopkins, MN (K-12 School Setting)
