At our nursing home, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents while fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment for our staff. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team.

Assistant Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and implementation of nursing care plans that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and assist in conducting performance evaluations.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and assist in preparing for surveys and inspections.
  • Address and resolve any resident or family concerns related to nursing care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for residents.
  • Step in to fulfill the duties of the Director of Nursing in their absence.

Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Nursing experience, in a supervisory or leadership role.
