Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse to oversee and manage infection prevention and control programs within our healthcare facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring infection trends, and educating staff on best practices to maintain a safe environment for residents, patients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor infection control policies and procedures

  • Conduct surveillance, audits, and reporting of infections

  • Ensure compliance with CDC, state, and local health regulations

  • Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and clinical teams

Qualifications

  • Active LVN or RN license (required)

  • Prior experience in Infection Control (SNF, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and infection prevention standards

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and training skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule & Compensation
