Works with community agencies to plan facilities that meet the needs of students outside of school. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, public health nursing, or other nursing programs is preferred. Work toward (and subsequently maintain) a certification in school nursing, community health/public health nursing, family nurse practitioner, or pediatric/school nurse practitioner from a nationally recognized professional nursing organization is preferred.
