We are seeking a transformational, visionary leader to provide system-wide leadership of all oncology APPs and be a core member of the service line and section leadership team. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), which includes advanced practice nurse practitioners (NP), physician assistants (PA), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) who participate in clinical service coverage models. This role functions as the primary resource regarding APP recruitment and retention, scope of practice, utilization and collaborative practice models, credentialing, orientation, competency, professional development, student placement and compliance. The Director will provide leadership to APPs through excellent management, coaching, mentoring, and professional development, ensuring APPs are aligned with organizational mission, values, and goals. The Director will cultivate and foster an empowered and engaged workforce by establishing and maintaining a practice environment consistent with UCM’s commitment to patient- and family-centered care, new knowledge and innovation, team collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
