An opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized healthcare support in a high school setting located in Hixson, TN. This position is full-time, onsite, and operates Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week during the current school year. The role involves working with students in a general group home or classroom environment, with responsibilities tailored based on individual skill sets. Candidates with experience supporting students who require 1:1 care, including managing G-tube feedings, seizure interventions, and ventilator or tracheostomy care, will find this role particularly aligned with their expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering nursing support and care to students in a school environment
Assisting with medical needs such as feeding tubes, seizure management, and respiratory support
Collaborating with educational staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Providing individualized care when assigned to students requiring 1:1 assistance

Qualifications and experience:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for Tennessee
Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
Proficiency in managing complex medical devices and conditions
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
