Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate

Location: Town & Country (moving 2026 to Christian Northeast)

Schedule: Full-Time Day or Night 7a-7p OR 7p-7a Compensation starting: $40.12 / hour 

Competitive shift differentials for nights $5 and weekends $3.50

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
  • Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
  • Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
  • Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
  • Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
  • Valid State RN License required.
  • BLS required at hire.
  • Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program

Overview SSM Health Neuro Transitional Center A Joint Venture between Select Medical and SSM Health Position: Nurse Supervisor (RN) Location: O'Fallon, MO Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8 hour days Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 - NO COMMITMENT Responsibilities The Assistant Residential Administrator must be an RN. Will be responsible for oversight of day to day medical coordination, assist with nurse direction of LPN and direct patient care to maintain patient medical stability within the Neuro Transitional Center in accordance with Residential Care Facility guidelines. Will also participate in nurse on call duties. Transitional rehabilitation is dedicated for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury* (SCI - C5 and below; not on vent), stroke or other neurological diseases, and who are also at high risk for unsafe discharge. Our Neuro Transitional Center provides a unique environment designed to feel like a home, yet gives patients with physical, behavioral and cognitive impairments access to comprehensive therapy in multiple settings. Specialized therapists help transitional patients restore independent living skills — with the goal of safely functioning in their home and community. Our new Neuro Transitional Center is another way we're changing rehabilitation for the better. Qualifications Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (including licensure, certification and other job-related credentials) Current state as Registered Nurse (RN) RCAL Licesnure required within 6 months of hire BLS certification through the American Heart Association required. Current State Driver's License in good standing required Knowledge of staffing patterns/ratios preferred Two years of supervisory experience in a residential care facility or rehabilitation environment preferred; experience with neuro population preferred. Ability to delegate and problem solve effectively.
