Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Town & Country, MO (moving 2026 to Christian Northeast)

Schedule: PRN Day or Night 7-7Compensation: $52/hour

Competitive shift differentials for nights $5 and weekends $3.50

Sign-on bonus: $7,500 NO COMMITMENT

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Competence in Rapid Response and code events
Instruct and counsel patients/families
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid State RN License
BLS is required at hire.
ACLS is required at hire.

Will be responsible for oversight of day to day medical coordination, assist with nurse direction of LPN and direct patient care to maintain patient medical stability within the Neuro Transitional Center in accordance with Residential Care Facility guidelines. Will also participate in nurse on call duties. Transitional rehabilitation is dedicated for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury* (SCI - C5 and below; not on vent), stroke or other neurological diseases, and who are also at high risk for unsafe discharge. Our Neuro Transitional Center provides a unique environment designed to feel like a home, yet gives patients with physical, behavioral and cognitive impairments access to comprehensive therapy in multiple settings. Specialized therapists help transitional patients restore independent living skills — with the goal of safely functioning in their home and community. Our new Neuro Transitional Center is another way we're changing rehabilitation for the better. Qualifications Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (including licensure, certification and other job-related credentials) Current state as Registered Nurse (RN) RCAL Licesnure required within 6 months of hire BLS certification through the American Heart Association required. Current State Driver's License in good standing required Knowledge of staffing patterns/ratios preferred Two years of supervisory experience in a residential care facility or rehabilitation environment preferred; experience with neuro population preferred.
