The 8th floor Stepdown Unit is a 28 bed unit with 22 private and 3 semi-private rooms.  The floor specializes in an intermediate level of care in which the patients need more monitoring and assessments than a medical/surgical division but are not so unstable that they need an ICU.

A Brief Overview
 

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
