The Trauma department at PeaceHealth at RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon is hiring a per diem Trauma Nurse Practitioner to fill in as needed to cover vacation, CME, and leave of absence.

  • Rounding on patients on the ward and ICU, OR first assist, seeing your patients in the clinic, consults, admissions and discharges.
  • Working with 2 trauma surgeons during the day, along with a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant to coordinate and share the workload.
  • Procedures include: Chest tube placement, a-line and central line insertion, I & Ds, skin biopsies, laceration closures, and wound debridement.
  • PeaceHealth Sacred Heart at RiverBend, level II Trauma Center with 392 beds supports a large catchment area, we are the largest Hospital between Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA with average volumes of 3,500+ patients/year.

Springfield and Eugene are sister communities, located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River.
