RN/ Registered Nurse Requirements:

Currently holds an active RN license to work in New York.
CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)
Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
Strong patient assessment skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated clinical competency

Five Star RNs are expected to carry out the following tasks:

Accurately record medical histories.
Take and record vital signs, collect samples for lab testing.
Administer medications and perform approved procedures and care.
Monitor patient condition and compose patient charts.
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
Provide supervision and support to other nurse staff when necessary

Essential Functions Ensuring a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit, working within company policies and procedures. Providing technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice. Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care.
