We're seeking a dynamic, visionary leader with a strong background in hospice operations and a respected presence in the healthcare community. Position Overview:
As Branch Director, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence, driving performance, and ensuring clinical and operational excellence across our service areas. You will provide strategic direction while actively engaging with staff, referral partners, and regulatory agencies to maintain and elevate the high standards of care that define our Hospice agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & Community Engagement:
Leverage your hospice leadership experience and market insight to increase awareness and utilization of hospice services throughout our regions.Leadership & Operational Oversight:
Ensure all systems, staff training, and support mechanisms are aligned to deliver timely, compassionate care. Actively resolve day-to-day operational issues with a proactive and collaborative approach.Clinical Excellence & Compliance:
Monitor and support clinical operations, including documentation, care planning, physician orders, QAPI programs, and patient records. Ensure readiness for audits, surveys, and compliance reviews.Team Development & Support:
Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.Communication with Leadership:
Maintain regular communication with the Governing Body, providing insights, updates, and recommendations aligned with organizational goals.Regulatory Awareness:
Stay current with state and federal hospice regulations and ensure best practices are consistently applied across clinical and operational functions.Collaboration:
Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to ongoing operational improvements and upholding our commitment to quality, integrity, and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospice care, including clinical leadership roles
Well-established relationships with physicians, referral sources, and healthcare networks in our service areas
Proven track record of leading and elevating hospice teams
Strong communication skills, with experience in professional presentations and public speaking
Willingness to travel within the assigned service area
