Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is looking to hire experienced and flexible Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join our elite clinical network in our per diem pool!

ESS Requirements:

  • Current Vermont License/Certificate
  • Clinical Staff must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience to be eligible for employment.
  • Scheduling Requirements: 4 shifts monthly, out of 4 shifts at least 2 worked on weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday), & 2 major holidays per year.

Responsibilities

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Responsibilities: 

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
  • Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed
  • Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
  • Conducts LNA job responsibilities in accordance
  • Attends interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected resident’s plans of care and documents restorative services provided
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Qualifications: 

  • Sixteen (16) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state of employment. Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.
  • 2 years of working experience with your active State Nurse Aide Registry (LNA) required. 
  • Training and LNA work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Caring and respectful attitude towards residents
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
