Blended Hourly Rate: $38-$42

LPN/ Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements & Responsibilities:

Unencumbered Compact Licensed Practical Nurse License or LA State License
Must have a tax home 50 miles plus from facility location
BLS & ACLS preferred
Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency
Ability to maintain professional boundaries in secure settings
Psychotropic medication knowledge (antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antidepressants, anxiolytics)
Ability to adapt quickly
Strong communication skills

Those services are performed under the supervision of a registered nurse but utilize all nursing skills to make safe, appropriate and independent decisions within the scope of the LPN nursing practice.
