  • Outpatient, float to 24 Highpoint clinics (primary care & specialties).

  • Approximately 1 month of precepted multi-site training before independent shifts.

Job Summary

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned clinic or specialty area. May float to cover other offices or clinics as needed.

How You'll Contribute

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update EMR.
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments.
  • Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
  • Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and equipment.
  • Support scheduling, referrals, and patient flow.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required; graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • A current certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset.
  • Experience: New grads welcome; outpatient or multi-specialty clinic experience preferred.

Required Skills

  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to function in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
