Job Summary:

At Home Matters Caregiving North Atlanta, we prioritize providing the highest standard of care to our seniors, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA PCA or Experienced Caregiver to join our team! As a part-time caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and management
• Assist with meal preparation and daily tasks
• Engage clients in activities and conversations to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the designated nurse
• Serve as a dedicated and compassionate companion to our clients

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a CNA, PCA, or caregiver
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors and their families
• Ability to lift and transfer clients with assistance
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Provide a warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude to families, visitors, and patients. Respond to expressed concerns with a helpful, caring demeanor. Answer questions in a professional manner • Respond to change productively, and handle additional projects as assigned • Participate in agency surveys and any subsequently required reports • Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in the field • Maintain current license/certification as required • Honor patient’s rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints • Comply with corporate compliance program • Report job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards, including exposure to blood and body fluids, as necessary • Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection and prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc • Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment • Ability to use Matrix Care documenting system, after receiving training MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Certificate of completion of state recognized Home Care Aide training program and supervised clinical practice MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • One (1) year of experience working with adults in a healthcare setting MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: • Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide • Current CPR certification • Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) • Personal Care Services experience is desirable Family Makes Us Stronger.
