$120,000-$200,000 per year

Responsibilities of Director of Nursing: 

  • Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the department 

  • Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care 

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team 

  • Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care 

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations 

 

Qualifications for Director of Nursing:

  • Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License.

  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. 

  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or another related healthcare setting. 

  • Must have experience in supervision and principles, the practice of teaching, etc. 

  • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is strongly preferred. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.

  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.

Registered Nurse Endoscopy Unit About The Role If you’re looking for a nursing career that blends advanced procedures with compassionate patient care, our Endoscopy Unit is the place for you. As an Endoscopy RN, you’ll play an essential role in preparing patients, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures, and ensuring every patient feels informed, safe, and cared for. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes with skill and empathy. What You’ll Do Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery. Assess patients, administer medications, and evaluate therapeutic responses. Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort. Serve as a Procedure Nurse (if ACLS and Conscious Sedation credentialed), assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Participate in the on-call rotation for urgent cases if ACLS and sedation credentialed. Recognize and respond to emergent situations with critical thinking and quick action.
