We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Transportation Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves providing transportation services for our residents and assisting with basic care as a ertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when needed. The ideal candidate will ensure residents are transported safely and respectfully while upholding our standards of care.

Transportation Driver/CNA Qualifications:

  • Active CNA certification in the state of PA

  • 1 year of experience as a CNA

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must have personal vehicle insurance (Liability)

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

  • Experience with elderly or disabled populations.

  • Strong communication and time management skills.

  • Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Transportation Driver/CNA responsibilities:

  • Transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and other approved outings using facility vehicles.

  • Provide physical assistance and use proper transfer techniques to help residents in and out of vehicles.

  • Ensure wheelchair-bound residents are properly secured.

  • Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and notify maintenance of issues.

  • Assist nursing staff with resident care duties when not driving (ADLs, ambulation, toileting, etc.).

  • Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.

  • Comply with HIPAA and infection control standards at all times.
