Qualifications Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree Additional Requirements Type of degree: Associates or Bachelors - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Area of study or major: Nursing Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Ohio Registered Nurse license in good standing. CPR Certification Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience Preferred experience: One year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred Knowledge/Skills: One-year clinical experience in acute care setting preferred Clinical experience must have occurred within the last three years unless employed currently in home care setting If working as a specialist, documentation of the skills and certifications must be provided Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs. Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision Computer Skills Preferred Home care experience preferred Must be proficient at fingerstick test/procedure. Must be proficient in conducting blood pressure screenings. Must be able to use equipment to obtain health screening results. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of participant information/data. May be required to offer a quick counsel on health screening results. May be required to administer vaccinations (flu and COVID). Must have strong people skills, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work under pressure. Must be proficient with basic computer skills - Analytics software and Epic may be used. Must have reliable transportation, accurate contact information and a valid Ohio driver's license. Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds when transporting supplies, and able to walk moderate distances to screening spaces. Must have regular access to email and internet to check communications
