This position is full time, 40 hours/week.
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to$10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligibleRegistered Nurses with1-2years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2years of experience!
This position functions as a Home Care RN and applies expertise of pediatric nursing to home care patients where care plan indicates such intervention is appropriate and provides support and assessment to newborns and mothers under the grant-funded program. Employee serves in a consultant capacity to co-workers when increased knowledge of this specialty will enable the co-worker to provide improved patient care.

- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
- Enjoy a less stressful pace of work, treating one patient at a time
- Case Manage a set number of cases
- Follow patient cases from start to finish
- Have the ability to work closely with patients and families, building better relationships
- Ability to give your full, undivided attention to each patient
- Have the ability to educate patients and family members about care, treatment & diagnosis in a much more in-depth manner
- Weekend scheduling – Every 4thweekend rotation!

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program. Position requires a minimum of one year of acute pediatric nursing experience.
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
