Cascades of Stayton (independent living, assisted living) provides care for residents and their families all over the region including Kingston, Sublimity, Aumsville, Young and Lyons.

Simply put, as a Med Tech you will:

Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their profile
Implement residents’ care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines
Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day
Work with the wellness team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living

This individual must perform these tasks as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations. Also, must perform routine daily tasks required in maintaining the health, comfort and wellbeing of the residents. Certified Medication Technician CMT - Essential Responsibilities: Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with community policy. Must demonstrate knowledge of “five rights” of medication administration. Administers and records all medication given to residents’ based upon their specific chart. May take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medications.
