MaineGeneral is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team at the Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner.The Alzheimer’s Care Center is a specialized assisted living home dedicated to supporting individuals living with memory impairment. Located in a peaceful, wooded setting on a quiet, tree-lined street, the Center offers a calm, supportive environment where residents receive compassionate, person-centered care. Our team is committed to promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life for every resident.
We are currently hiring for a 32-hour-per-week, night-shift CRMA position. In this role, you will play a vital part in medication administration and daily resident support, contributing to a consistent and comforting care experience.

Job Description:
Position: Certified Residential Medications Aide (CRMA)
Location: Alzheimer's Care Center, Gardiner
Schedule: Part-time (32 hours/week)
Shift: Nights (10p - 6a)
The Role: CRMA
Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications as directed.
- Distributes medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and completes all required documentation.
- Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
- Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Assists with keeping the patient's environment safe, clean, and orderly.
What You Bring:
- 1 year or more of experience is preferred.
- Current Maine CRMA certification required.
- Personal Support Specialist certification is required within 120 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support Provider is preferred.
