This position is located in the University of Hawai?i at Hilo Student Medical Services (UHHSMS), a unit within Student Health and Wellness Programs (SHWP), at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo (UHH). The UHHSMS provides primary medical care and education programs, in conjunction with the Student Health and Wellness Programs, to students primarily of UHH and Hawaii Community College.General Duty nursing involves responsibility for direct/indirect nursing care to patients in hospitals, infirmaries, sanitaria or similar health care facilities. Positions in this area may involve assignment to one, or rotation among, the various clinical services of the institution (e.g., obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, orthopedics, outpatient, geriatrics, tuberculosis, psychiatric, Hansen's disease, etc.).
