Key Responsibilities:

In this rewarding part-time role, you’ll provide essential care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Helping clients transfer or move from one location to another within their home.

  • Providing housekeeping assistance (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, and more).

  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences.

  • Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments.

  • Offering companionship through activities like reading, puzzles, music, and conversations.

  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises and medication reminders.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: We value retirees who want to stay engaged and use their skills in a meaningful way. Previous experience in caregiving is required.

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and pass a background check.

  • Certifications: CNA license, Home Care Aide, or Personal Care Aide certifications are required.

  • Personality: A compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to give back to those in need. Must live in the South Bay area!
