A healthcare organization is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Nephrology service in a full-time role. This position focuses primarily on inpatient hospital rounding and outpatient dialysis center coverage, with occasional office responsibilities as future needs arise.

Position Details
  • Full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week)
  • 8-hour day shifts, primarily Monday–Friday
  • Weekend coverage one weekend per month, as needed
  • Limited holiday call requirements
  • Work includes inpatient hospital rounds and outpatient dialysis center rounds
  • Willingness to travel to regional outreach locations one week per month

Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers. Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc. Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified Experience working in a long-term care setting. Ability to work with an EMR. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care. Basic coding knowledge preferred, not required. Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant – Job Description Position Summary The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant provides advanced practice nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. Working collaboratively with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary care team, the NP/PA is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of cardiac patients in outpatient, inpatient, and/or procedural settings.
