Job Summary

Records health details of patients which usually comprise blood pressure, body temperature, respiration and heartbeat rate among other vital signs. Helps the patient prepare for medical examinations. Administers medicines prescribed by the physician to the patients Ensures that ongoing assessments are conducted as determined by the patient’s condition and re-prioritizes care accordingly. Identifies client care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to clients and families.
