Demonstrates competency in dealing with patient specific to the work area. Performs other related duties. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Active enrollment at a board-approved pre-licensure program of nursing with completion of their Junior Year. Required Skills Successful completion of skills checklist at school of nursing, orientation to the job level, and on-the-job training as necessary. Minimum Work Experience None Work Requirements: 10 week paid externship where extern will be expected to work full time hours alongside a designated RN. Must commit in advance to all 10 weeks. Less than 24 hours/week is considered PRN and follow PRN Guidelines. Staff is encouraged to work 12-hour shifts if possible.
