As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of MN Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Assisted Living Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

This position will serve an adult patient population (16 years or older) . As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for: Implementing protective measures prior to operative or invasive procedure, including measures to prevent skin or tissue injury due to thermal, mechanical, electrical and chemical sources. Confirming identity before the operative or invasive procedure and verifying operative procedure, surgical site and laterality. Appling safety devices, performing required counts, managing specimen handling and disposition. Appling principles of aseptic technique while establishing and maintaining sterile fields. Performing skin preparations, monitoring for wound contamination, and classifying the surgical wound.
