Summary:

We're seeking a caring, professional, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Powder Springs, GA area to perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed practical nurses. Duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting with all ADL's, ambulating and transfers, taking and recording vital signs, as well as maintaining the confidentiality of resident and facility records/information.

Responsibilities of the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Assist patients with hygiene needs.
Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
Observe and record patients' reactions to medications and treatment.
Practice safety and infection control policies
Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet unit patient care needs.
Participate in the organization and prioritization of patient and unit activities.
Supervision is received from the nursing personnel on the unit.

The Care Partner assists other health care providers with safe, age appropriate and culturally aware care by performing basic patient care functions; i.e. ADL's, ambulation, and vital signs. The Care Partner may require approved advanced technical training skills may be required i.e. phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and discontinuing Foley catheters. Performing additional advanced skills may be required to support clinical care and will fluctuate depending on the needs of the unit. Performing clerical functions such as: retrieval of data, maintaining unit supplies, and transporting supplies/patient medications will be required.
