We're hiring Part Time on 1st, 7a-3p, Sunday & Monday or Friday & Saturday.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. 

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting 
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. 
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. 
  • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. 
  • Other duties as needed. 
 

Requirements: 

  • Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

As assigned by the team leader or charge nurse, the CNA is responsible for the following related duties: * Maintaining non-patient areas (i.e. tub room, utility room, etc.) in a neat and orderly condition, as assigned. o Assisting with admission and discharge procedures. * Answering residents' call lights. * Performing errand services for nursing unit as needed. * Maintaining resident's living area, consisting of bed, bedside table, overhead table, wheelchairs, geriatric chair clothing drawers and closets and bathroom storage area in a clean, orderly manner. 3. Observes and reports information related to changes in patient's condition or patient's responses to care to the team leader or charge nurse including: * Measuring and recording fluid intake and output. * Taking and recording temperatures, pulses and respiration's. * Obtaining routine specimens: urine, stool and sputum. * Testing urine for sugar and acetone. * Administering routine enemas. * Obtaining and recording resident's weights. * Assisting residents in and out of bed, chairs and stretches; lifting, turning and positioning residents, applying principles of good body alignment.
