Job Details

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Team Coordinator, and/or a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practice Nurse functions as a member of the healthcare team according to the Practical Nurse Act, accepted standards, and his/her level of knowledge and experience. He/she may additionally perform a variety of quality, patient focused, and clerical duties to support the operations of the unit.

Job Description

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
 Performs designated direct patient care activities to meet patient care needs
 Actively seeks measures to promote patient safety and satisfaction in all aspects of patient care demonstrating accountability and responsibility for performance consistent with hospital and departmental standards.
 May perform clerical functions to support departmental operations, including but not limited to contacting physician offices to facilitate appropriate and complete chart reservation and monitoring quality initiatives.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Includes High School Diploma or GED, (Specify field). Also includes Schools like Medical Assistant, Practical Nurse, etc.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
AND
Experience:
1+ years of previous related experience preferred.

Salary Range

$27.58 to $39.30 Hourly

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
