Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Schedule patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical environment is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures, particularly in dermatology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
