Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to clients via various methods, including oral, injection, and self-administration, ensuring adherence to service line requirements.
- Conduct nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations, observing service line protocols.
- Document medication administration and assessments accurately, adhering to service line standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding medication queries, managing refill requests under operational guidelines.
- Room clients and validate essential medical information while conducting preliminary health checks.
- Maintain timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions while contributing to client safety plans.
- Oversee medical and medication records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a resource for nursing and medical inquiries, focusing on health issues under nursing leadership.
- Participate in meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program.
Additional Qualifications:
- Successful completion of background checks, including criminal records, driving records, and abuse/neglect clearances.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
- Involves sitting most of the time but may include walking or standing briefly.
