We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team in Wallingford, Connecticut. As a key member of our leadership team, the DON will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, and promoting a positive work environment for our staff.

Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing department, including supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff

  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards

  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and open communication

  • Develop and manage the nursing budget, including forecasting and budget planning

Director of Nursing (DON) Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience with regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff development
