Job Description:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Pediatric and Telemetry.
 

Qualifications:

Required:

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Maintains current and active status on all required licensure/certification/registration, including training and education as outlined by corporate policy.

Minimum Hiring Wage: From $35.79 per hour Job Details: Scheduled Hours: Monday and Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm Job Description: A Brief Overview The Diagnostic Imaging Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care in diagnostic imaging settings. Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that imaging procedures are performed safely, effectively, and in a patient-centered manner. Provide nurse skills including pre-procedure assessment, education, and monitoring during imaging procedures. Communicate with patients and their families about the procedure, answering questions and addressing concerns to ensure they understand the process and any potential risks. What you will do Care for patients transported from the Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Care Unit. Perform nursing procedures, treatments, and administers medications/treatments as directed by a Radiologist or other physician. Provide support to the radiologist or technologist during imaging procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow. Transports or assists with transport of patients coming to and from Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Monitor and evaluate patient’s functional status during transport and imaging procedures.
